Best of its kind,

This review is from: Encyclopedia of Japan (CD-ROM) (Audio CD)
The reason this is the best of its kind is that the CDROm is based on the Kodansha encylopedia, and most of the contributors are Japanese specialists. Articles are far more accurate than one can find elsewhere. Not that there is much competition. If it is writers, politicians, aesthetics, Zen masters or categories of ghosts [far more than in the West] or different aspects of the Buddha, this work will help. Too bad that it will shortly be "out of print." An odd feature is that the identical work purchased in Japan [where I live] is 300% more expensive!
