This review is from: Encyclopedia of the Jewish Diaspora: Origins, Experiences, and Culture (3 Volume Set) (Hardcover)
In particular, I was very interested that the ancient Greeks believed that after the Exodus, a group of Jews broke off and rather than going to Israel settled in Greece. I don't know if the archaeological record supports that belief, but it's a fascinating idea. There are a multitude of interesting articles in this worthy work -- I am working my way one by one through the first volume. So far, I have learned a great deal and plan to follow up on some of the themes on my own.
