This is a very good broad based resume book that has many types of resumes in many different fields.

I purchased this book for my niece when she was graduating from college. She found it very useful. I am also now in the market for a new job and borrowed the book from her and have enjoyed it so much that I am purchasing my own copy. There is a lot of good recommendations on how to keep your resume short and concise. It also provides different examples for a variety of positions. The one drawback I had was that it didn't make reference to including email addresses and web sites.

After becoming unemployed last year, this has been my go-to reference for when I want to rework my resume or cover-letter.

The examples are too simple and basic. It tries to cover all kinds of positions, so there is no focus. You can get the ideas from any resume books from the city libraries. This book might be useful for instructors.

The staff at our office were thrilled to receive their copy of this book and began using it right away. They all feel it is a helpful addition to the office reference library.
