Fair Use at its Best?,
By Yanson Ching (Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Encyclopedia of Law and Economics (Hardcover)
An amazing piece of work. Boudewijn and De Geest has managed to co-ordinate an extraordinarily collection. The scope is breathtaking, covering all aspects of history in relation to Law and Economics, as well as most areas of law and its developments. The detailed in most chapters are lacking, and most analysis are left to the original papers cited, making this a reference in the strictest sense. There is also very limited economic analysis, though the editors did make the claim that the edition is meant to be for the ordinary person only. In a nice twist of copyright and fair use, the entire volume is downloadable from its web site in pdf format, no less. Why pay the ...? I salute the editors' effort to encourage derivateive innovation. Bravo.
