As a graduate student in English I have found this encyclopedia to be an invaluable resource because it centralizes a huge amount of information in the ever-expanding field of life writing very succinctly. This is the first encyclopedia of its kind and I would encourge more libraries to carry it as it is a great starting place for papers. Plus, the entries are extremely well-written and are by leading scholars in the field.
Overall, it is an extremely helpful tool for anyone with an interest in any of the many forms of life writing. |
