This book, Volume 2 of the "Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls Identification and Price Guides" compiled by Elaine Pardee and others, has been a long time coming, but it is more than worth the wait. The first book, which Ms. Pardee also compiled along with Jackie Robertson, covers the bisque era of Nancy Ann dolls, and is also fabulous. This book includes everything the first one did not, including babies, both bisque and plastic, and all the dolls produced by Nancy Ann from the beginning of the plastic era onward. I've been a collector of Nancy Ann dolls for more than 20 years, and also collect and repair many other types of dolls, both vintage and modern. I think I must have just about every doll collector's reference book ever published! But this one is easily the best I have ever seen. It is HUGE. The sheer weight of it lets you know, before you even open the cover, that this is a book jam-packed with wonderful information. Needless to say, I now understand why it has taken so long to put it together! The scope of this book is mind-boggling, the photos simply breath-taking. If you collect dolls from the 1950's and 1960's--and even if you don't--you won't want to be without this book. Along with Volume 1, this book is a "must-have" for all doll lovers.

I do not know much about Nancy Ann dolls and this book offers an amazing amount of detail and pictures. I just wish I had bought the first book when it firt came out. This is a must have for all doll dealers and collectors with an interest in Nancy Ann dolls.

A great followup to the first Encyclopedia of Nancy Ann dolls. This one focuses on the plastic dolls, and the early bisque babies, with additions to the history of the company. I've been a collector for many years, and Elaine Pardee, her collaborators, and other mentioned collectors have done a ton of research and photography to make this book a delight to read and reread. So much has been learned since the late Marge Miller's book, and so many have shared their findings to help create this book. If you never read Elaine and Jackie Robertson's first Encyclopedia, get that one too.

This is a beautifully illustrated book and it is very helpful in identifying some of the most elusive and rare Nancy Ann dolls from her Storybook series to Muffie and Miss Nancy Ann, as well as the gorgeous Nancy Ann Style Show creations. Would recommend this book to any collector of hard plastic dolls; it includes wonderful descriptions and stunning photographs.

Very informative book for Nancy Ann Storybook doll fans. Mostly covers hard plastic dolls but does provide reviews for bisque Nancy Ann babies. A "must have" to go with "Enclycopedia of Bisque Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls 1936 - 1947 Identification & Values".

This book is a wonderful resource for Nancy Ann Storybook dolls collectors. It has beautiful pictures of the various dolls with their different dresses on. It gives you an idea of the value of each doll and when it was made. I collected these dolls as a little girl and have recently begun collecting them again as my previous collection is long gone and this book brings back many wonderful memories. It is just a beautiful and very informative book!!

Packed with notes on fabrics and trims for clothing and details on collectibility and options, the second volume of the detailed Encyclopedia of Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls is a winner, packing in numerous clear color photos on every page with the latest values and identifications of the dolls. Any general lending library strong in collector's items will relish this.

This book is well researched and a very thorough reference on Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls, Volume 2, by Elaine M. Pardee. I especially enjoyed the addition of all the Muffie, Big Sister Debbie color outfits listed and recommend it for a good reference/research book.

This is an invaluable companion to the first Nancy Ann Doll book! It extends further into the dolls with many pictures never seen.
