Most Helpful Customer Reviews

Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
A beautifully written speculation by a classical scholar on the intruiging echoes of historical events of the Aegean possibly reflected in Greek mythology. Always gently tentative, the author appeals to the reader's mind rather than trying to lead him by the nose, unlike some other later books on the same subject.
