4.0 out of 5 stars Touching HipHop, February 17, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: End Clone Gaming (Audio CD)
It seems another hiphop group (Conglomerates) has stepped up to the plate and delivered a handful of tasty treats. After taking 2 listens of "End Clone Gaming" i'd say they are definitely taking hiphop music to the next level. Powerful boom bap beats touched with nasty cuts from various dj's and the abstract mc bring you a well crafted album. Very fresh and innovating. If you liked the feeling of Organized Konfusion & 3rd Bass when you first their songs......Then you'll definitely enjoy this album. I wish them lots of luck with the overpopulated hiphop scene.

5.0 out of 5 stars the greatest, March 10, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: End Clone Gaming (Audio CD)
I love the album. The lyrics and beats are lyrically tuned in!I recommend this to anyone who is a music fan. You can really feel the vibe. Its a masterpiece created by a genius who pours his energy and soul to every lyric and beat that's on this album. I've been to one of thier concerts and it really and truly inspired me. Raimetaphor gave a wonderful performance ,all was thought out well! I'm looking forward to the next album just because of his metaphorically challenging verses. they are awesome! Much Love and Respect Number 1 Fan!

4.0 out of 5 stars ill debut keeps heads wonderin whats to come.., February 27, 2003
This review is from: End Clone Gaming (Audio CD)
An album that grabs your attention from start to finish. IF you're a true hip-hop head listen to the intro and see if you can figure out the timeline. The beats are indeed worth a good number of rewinds. Listen to the man raimetaphor spew venom over the tracks. One notable track is "Listen up" featuring Breez Evaflowin (underground heads know who he is out of the Stronghold click). Plain and simple you won't be disappointed ill from beginning to end. Like redman said "pick it up pick it up"

4.0 out of 5 stars The Underground, February 24, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: End Clone Gaming (Audio CD)
End Clone Gaming is a perfect representation of what true underground hiphop should be. Beginning with the albums intro (Reclaim the Earth) they sum it up quickly with how the culture has lost it's identity and now it's up to these mighty Conglomerates to stronghold a position and take it back. In hiphop many artists have come and gone. Some elevated and some drowned in blind fury as they sold themselves out to cater to the masses. "Coming up short are these cop-outs", hence the track "Cold Confrontation". "Disguised Skies" is a deep personal conversation with pain & suffering. The MC touched topics on child abuse, a nephew born with cancer, molestation, family member with aids, a great love for an uncle who served in Vietnam & a grandfather who past away due to alcohol abuse. Beside the deep, lies the fun with "Listen Up" featuring a great upcoming battle champ MC Breez Evaflowin whose skills are world renown. The two were great on the Angus Scrimm produced track which reminds you of that late 80's hiphop sound. To sum it all up, End Clone Gaming is blazin' hot!! All elements of hiphop live within these artists and their approach to the art form is amazing with style & finesse. Remember De La Soul "3 Feet High And Rising" & Ultramagnetic Mc's "Critical Beatdown".......put them together and there you have it..........CONGLOMERATES=End Clone Gaming!

5.0 out of 5 stars Tasty like a dozen donuts, February 22, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: End Clone Gaming (Audio CD)
Every once and awhile when I have that extra dough to spend, I take a chance and purchase a CD I've never heard of for many different reasons. This one I went ahead and purchased because the cover looks cool. So was it worth the risk....this time I scored again. End Clone Gaming by Conglomerates is a melting pot of creavtiveness. In the way RaiMetaPhor delievers lyrically, the range of production styles- the humorous (Energizer Bunny) and social (Talkin 2 U), the fun explortion into other worlds (Astrological)with metaphoric innuendos (Metallic Wings),to the battlezone (MetaPhor's Mutiny),and back to the pay the price for love (Nora), and then the elimination of production line MC's (End Clone Gaming), with add bonuses like a dozen tasty krispy kremes...I picked a winner!
