For those of you who have seen the movie the End Of Evangelion, this is the CD you'll have to buy. Not only because of the meaning of the songs but also because of their great sound quality. The songs contained in this CD are of different genders. Going from Rei's Thanatos to Asuka's Komm Susser Tod. Also from the songs that make you remember of Asuka's fight against the complete EVA Mass-Producction Models.

And for those of you who have not seen the movies (Death & Rebirth) (End Of Evangelion), This is your chance to hear the soundtrack prior to seeing the movie, I can tell you that the whole movie experience is not complete until you have heard this soundtrack.

The Original Soundtrack to the Greatest Visual Entertainment, and my Favorite Movie concists of 14 tracks, 2 tracks of classic music (Air & Jesus Bleibe bleibet Meine Freunde) and the rest is original music.

The OST is Beautifull and reflects End of Evangelion Perfectly, I have no idea of other OST`s other then Ghost in the Shell OST that match its wonderfullness.

Recommended at all cost to buying this cd

This CD has to be one of the best CD's ever.It mixes classical tunes with new instrumentals so perfectly.Words can not do it justice,the funny thing is I heard this before I saw the movies and loved it than.

Well, if you saw the movie then you know how important it is the music. You can remember the scenes just by listen to it. And, the cd sounds really amazing. I think one of the best ever.

I felt I just had to write a review about this, since it's been spending so much time in my CD player. I've owned it for about a year, so this definitely isn't just a short-term infatuation.

I guess it's hard to explain exactly what I find so appealing about it. The music selection is not just good, but also quite varied, and yet surprisingly cohesive. Perhaps due to the variety, I find it fits more moods that I first expected. It's also something I can either listen actively, or just put on in the background. Something else in its favor is that it reminds me of much of what I liked about the movie.

If you're on the fence about buying it, even if you don't usually buy BGM CDs, I'd advise you to take a chance on this one.
