This review is from: End of Part One (Audio CD)
I'd never heard of Violet Archer, the poet, or The Rheostatics, from which the leader of the Violet Archers apparently came. Nor am I Canadian. But I was so impressed by the wonderful arrangements and lyrics when I heard them on Pandora. The vocals are rich, the production never feels heavy. Imagine if the 1970s Yes had been caught in a transporter with the 1980s Laurie Anderson and the current Pipettes.
I'm not even sure what to call End of Part One. But it sure is beautiful.
