End Plate Sling Single Loop

NOTE: This end plate seems to be for a commercial diameter buffer tube NOT the Mil-Spec diameter buffer tube.

I didn't like the product that much upon opening it, but I happened to have a commercial buffer tube so I decided I'd try it out anyway.

When I opened the package I didn't think the end plate was visually appealing, the edges aren't filed down smoothly and the matte finish looks uneven. Once I installed the endplate and reassembled everything I noticed that the side without the loop hole sticks out away from the lower receiver by about 1/8" which looked terrible.

Functionally, the way the endplate sits on the lower receiver, you lose about 1/8" in space.

My opinion, and it's just my opinion, the product seems unfinished. This might not mean all that much to some people, but take a look at the DOUBLESTAR plates at Brownells and you'll see the difference between this product and one that fits the lower receiver better.

It works great on my DPMS. it does not fit the exact profile of my DPMS A-15 lower receiver. This does not effect how it works. 5 stars if it were build for my rifle. As be sure to purchase the tool used to remove the nut.

Did not work on a S&W M&P .22. Recommend the manufacturer list the guns this item will work on.

It works. Edges are real rough they cut into your sling's hook. Sticks out from receiver a hair, like it is bent. Like I said its not the best but for $10.00 it works.

Great fit, but will scratch very easy with an installed 1 point sling, but not a big deal.

Well made end plate. I was worried it would be flimsy, but I am
very satisfied with it's construction. The end plate is solid.
It fit with no problems at all, just like the original piece.
The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 was a slight
discoloration on the unit, no big deal. The discoloration doesn't
affect the intended use. I would recommend this unit to anyone.
