This documentary is for those who want to be depressed and mock some of the most memorable scenes of the Grateful Dead experience, the Parking Lot. If you take a crowd of a hundred thousand people, over the whole Summer Tour, and focus on just a few ugly accidents, then this is what you get for a documentary.

I've been to a few shows, including the 95 tour, and this is not what it looked like to me. The Dead shows were times when people of all trades from bums to lawers got together and ignored their differences. And when the music came on, we all danced and moved to the same beat, we moved as one. That was the magic. The magic was that for that brief time, we did not care about our titles, status, cars, and other bull s...t, we just let it feel natural, and it felt great. Yes, it sucked when people broke the gates and were causing the trouble. They were the ones that looked weird now. They were the clowns. We knew it and no one cared. And that's where it ended for most - we did not let some mess with the overall cause. The Grateful Dead shows felt like you were on another planet where these type of things did not matter. We came to enjoy whatever was left in true American Spirit of Freedom and Independence that we call the 60'es. The 60'es even went as far as Soviet Union and gave birth to a bard movement there. And the Grateful Dead were the last standing band representing that movement. And they had the magic. All you needed to do is to close your eyes and let it go. The Energy that entered me - never left. 20 years later I can still feel it....

This documentary is garbage. The only reason for one star is for including Merl Sanders. His One Minute piece is the Only part to watch in this terrible film.
