This review is from: The End of Suffering: The Work of Byron Katie (Audio Cassette)
A wonderful introduction to The Work of Byron Katie, The End of Suffering is a selection of powerful dialogues between Byron Katie and people-men and women, from child to adult-who have been holding onto painful concepts that no longer serve them. They represent us; they *are* us. As with all recordings of Katie facilitating The Work-her unique and deceptively simple self-inquiry process-there is food for thought here that you can digest again and again for new insights. From quotidien complaints to life traumas, The Work-a written process of cognitive restructuring, if you want to get fancy about it-is a way to relieve the suffering that occurs when we attach to thoughts that are not true for us. "Confusion is the only suffering," Katie says. While you listen to these people "undo" themselves, you'll empathize, realize, learn, and laugh along with them.
