5.0 out of 5 stars Worldwide classic from Memphis
This album is just so great that it's hard to find out where to begin. It kicks off with an intro taken from Independence Day and from there the T6M shines throughout the whole album. One thing that hits me about this album is that even though no track sound the same they all have this dark feeling that no other album has. You'll find the kick-off track...

2.0 out of 5 stars Uh wow, what's wrong with you people
Maybe I'm a little confused here, but the mixes of these songs available on other Three 6 albums are MUCH better. Body Parts is slaughtered on this release. On top of that, this album doesn't have ANY songs that make it "really good." I have the other 5 latest albums which aren't the best, but still have some good songs. Stick to those, this one isn't worth buying...

5.0 out of 5 stars Worldwide classic from Memphis, March 22, 2000
This review is from: The End (Audio CD)
This album is just so great that it's hard to find out where to begin. It kicks off with an intro taken from Independence Day and from there the T6M shines throughout the whole album. One thing that hits me about this album is that even though no track sound the same they all have this dark feeling that no other album has. You'll find the kick-off track "Stomp", the great "Late Night Tip" and "Good Stuff", the hypnotizing "N-2-Deep", the wicked "Last Man Standing", the obligatory Posse cut and "The End": a great instrumental. It's impossible to pick out any favorite here because this is one of a few albums that has nothing but 100% tight tracks, but one to mention is "Life Or Death" that closes the album. That one is so dark and when the piano solo(!) starts you'll wish it'll never end. If You're ready for something original and outstanding then buy this album. You'll be amazed how the rappers fit each other perfectly both by styles and lyrics. Another thing about it is that the production is so good. I thought they wouldn't be able to match "Mystic Stylez" but this one is off the hook and with no doubt the best one out of the Prophet/ Hypnotize Mindz Posse.

5.0 out of 5 stars There has never been a better rap album., March 22, 2003
This review is from: The End (Audio CD)
Anything that Three 6 Mafia turns out is far above hip-hop industry standards (which isn't really saying much) in my humble opinion, but this tops them all. This intricate blend of semi-horrorcore lyricism and unmatched production will never be equaled in the rap music industry. Most of my friends aren't rap fans at all but still like this album. Lord Infamous dominates with his demonic poetry and brilliant lyrics, while Koopsta Knicca's almost psychotic singing is the icing on the cake. Songs like "Stomp," "Where Da Killaz Hang," and "Last Man Standing" are good examples of these vicious verbal atrocities, while songs like the introspective "In-2-Deep" and the hypnotic relationship song "Late Night Tip" add a welcome amount of variety to the album. Lord Infamous displays his vocal versatility and solo rapping capabilities in "Where's Da Bud," while Koopsta steals the show from The Kaze in "Life Or Death" which has a beautifully morbid piano loop at the end. The only downside to the album is the almost comical lines that Juicy J. puts into some of the songs. Otherwise, classic material from a greatly underrated rap group.

5.0 out of 5 stars Once again, June 26, 2001
This review is from: The End (Audio CD)
The End is my favorite three six mafia cd and this along with Chapter 2 World Domination are their best cds. The Production is off the chain on the real. I usually dont buy a whole triple six album but im glad i bought this one. I think gangsta boo shines the most on this album all her verses come off tight. the rest of the crew is aight but i wouldnt buy a solo album. in early 97 and before were the good days. If we get a quality album nowadays it is by mistake usually it has only been a handful of classic cd's since 97. anyway this is classic. the song Stomp uses an excellent sample of Unsolved Mysteries and is really tight.Money Flow sounds like Aaliyah's If Your Girl Only Knew and it may even be a sample but it is still tight as anything. Late Night tip is a superior song. Gotcha Shakin is a raw song with an undeniable tight beat and chorus and flow but all the cussin and talkin at the end is unneccesary. i aint got time to go thru each song but the cd is a classic trust me i know good music from wack music and this is my honest opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dark, cinematic, and perfect, January 12, 2006

This review is from: The End (Audio CD)
This along w/ Mystic Stylez and Ch.2 Domination are the holy trinity of 3-6 albums....Ch.2 and The End being my favorites tho.....

Alright, the album kicks off w/ "stomp" which is very dark...It brilliantly samples the "unsolved mysteries" theme song....The rest of the cuts are everything u can ask for from DJ Paul and Juicy J on the production tip...They are very dark....And Lord Infamous, Project Pat, Gangsta Boo and everyone else comes correct on this album, giving you raw lyrics....

"The End" (the song) is an instrumental that might be one of my fav rap beats ever....Its very dark, but yet done brilliantly, in my opinion....My fav tracks include Stomp,The End, Late Night Tip, N 2 Deep, and Life or Death...But really all the songs are great....You won't be disappointed w/ The End...Gurantee it...

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Three 6 CD, absolute classic, November 9, 2005
By
This review is from: The End (Audio CD)
This is the best Three 6 Mafia CD in my opinion and I've heard ALL of them. No one can touch this, the only CD that rivals it is Mystic Stylez, but the production and quality on this one is so much better, and their sound evolved _just enough_ so that I pick this one as my all-time favorite three 6, and one of my top 5 CD's all time. The dark production and the pure crunk energy of this CD (they are the ORIGIN of crunk folks, not any of this new Lil Jon crap) make this CD an absolute banger all the way through. The first version of Body Parts (there are parts 2-3 on other CDs), "Destruction Terror" (boppin your head to the butcher swing) has an absolutely insane beat, Life or Death which showcases Koop (unfortunately he's not in the group anymore but now has 3+ solo CDs)... damn this is a good one. A must have.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tight Underground Release, November 1, 2004
This review is from: The End (Audio CD)
One of their best albums, so many classic joints on here. My 3rd favorite Three 6 release (Mystic Stylez & World Domination beat this). The End has so many hot beats, along with everyone dropping in some hardcore verses. Better than any crap we hear on the radio today. They rap about whatever they want. Best track is Late Night Tip which is OFF the hook. So are Life Or Death, Gettem Crunk, Destruction Terror, Stompin', and In 2 Deep. Every Three 6 Mafia fan should own this, its an awesome album, not classic, but its definitely one of their best.

This is the best rap album i've ever heard, period. It's the best Three 6 album, second is Chapter 2:World Domination and then Mystic Styles. Three 6 is better than anyone, better than 2pac better than Eminem. They're known for their dark and eerie sound and violent lyrics. Hardcore rap. Not that pop stuff you hear nowadays like Nelly,Chingy,50 Cent and trust me alot more. Its finally good to see Three 6 get some notice and doin really well now. Of course they don't sound anything like they used to, well they had to change or they werent going to get recognized(their sound back then wasnt really appropriate for radio and MTV), so I understand. But anyways i really recommend this album for any rap fan, its a classic.
