As a campaigner against the EU I found that this book opened my eyes to the fact that the EU is just part of a wider picture and that the ultimate aim is a one world government with a one world currency. The story of the formation of the EU and how much else is going on behind the scenes is fascinating. Well written and well researched.

This is a unique book. It is written from a biblical perspective by a seasoned London newspaper editor who understands politics. The result is a series of penetrating insights into the revival of the old Roman empire, all in fulfillment of Bible prophecies made centuries ago.

As a born again Christian who is interested in Biblical prophecy and Christian doctrine, I found Mr Franklin's information to be extremely accurate in the details offered throughout this book, which concerns the current events unfolding in the European Union. The information proved in this book will stun and shock the reader, as Mr Franklin provides in depth details that only an eyewitness can verify. The facts presented by Mr Franklin can be verified through many reliable secular sources and in real time. I have yet to date (3 years now) found anyone who has been able to refute anything Mr Franklin has offered and is just one of the many reasons I hold this book as accurate and up-to-date and well worth your time.

Mr Franklin has demonstrated a commanding grasp of the Biblical prophetic record by outlining those prophecies clearly and precisely in this book. This makes possible for the reader to have an easy understanding what the Bible declares will come in these last days. Mr Franklin has done an excellent service by writing and publishing this book.

Alan Franklin's credentials are indeed impressive and adds to the reliability of the facts he has presented. I have done much research on the subjects mentioned in this book and have found that the evidence offered is accurate and clearly available to easily verify.

If you want to know what is happening before your very eyes, it would be well worth your time to read what Mr Franklin has offered, by exposing what is happening in the European Union today. As Mr Franklin is a first hand, up close and personal witness to the rapid changes taking place today, this only validates his creditability, accuracy and his love for truth.

This book is worthy to purchase and share with friends, family and loved ones. I highly encourage you to read this book, as it was very helpful in bringing a close friend of mine to salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ. And in my opinion, any book that is capable of such glory should be on your list of "must have".

As a publisher for many years, Alan Franklin has been in a unique position to review the thousands of articles on globalist trends, from their innocuous beginnings as efforts to enhance trade to their current usurpations of national sovereignty. Alan goes to great lengths to meticulously document this seemingly inevitable trend for power to be concentrated in the hands of fewer individuals who are not subject to elective control. The material in this book may be somewhat above the comprehension level of some, but when read with an open-minded there is a very sobering awarness of what the future may hold.

Franklin's insight and depth of understanding as to what is transpiring in the EU has opened our eyes here in the United States. We have been so overfed with news stories about Michael Jackson, Scott Peterson and the disappearance of a young lady in Aruba that we have not paid attention to the EU. At least, the average citizen. We need books like this that take a serious view of development on the continent.
As serious Bible student/believers our mouths drop open when we see the "woman riding the beast", the blatant disregard for history in the "Tower of Bable" and the Madonna flag. How can we be so blind to ignore such warning signs? Space does not permit much more, but we are using the final chapter in the revised edition (written by Pat Franklin) as a tool to further the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others who are seeking.

Incredible. A must read! I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know the truth about the EU, the truth that no one wants you to hear.

I was priviledged to hear Alan Franklin talk in person, and what an 'eye opener', to listen to what he has to say about what has, and is, happening in Europe. If there was ever any wonder why neither political party in the United States is interested in protecting our borders, after reading this book, all the lights will come on. I bought and read the book also. It is documented with actual newpaper clippings. Get the book.

Cracking read, very entertaining & full of well researched evidence to back up the author's central thesis. I'd recommend it as a real eye-opener as to what's going on in the world today.

Alan Franklin has been a professional journalist for 38 years (at the time of writing this book in 2002). He has followed the development of the European Union, collecting information from many sources, and has presented a chilling account of its real aims and objectives, which go far beyond what is usually presented in the media.

Any serious observer of the European Union will already be aware that the supposed community of trading nations that Britain joined in 1973, when Edward Heath was Prime Minister, was just an illusion. We were misled about its true intentions, and now we see it turning into a Superstate, with a single currency, a combined police force called Europol, and a European Army. However, Alan warns us that the real objectives of the EU go further than we have yet seen. It has systematically pursued a globalistic agenda since its foundation in the Treaty of Rome in 1957, so that the present European Union is just an intermediate stage in the move towards a future World Government.

The United Nations is in on the act, and in September 2000 they sponsored a Millennium Conference in New York where they laid down plans about how the world would be divided up, for the purpose of elections to the World Government. They produced a document called "How World Government will Work" stating that "Earth is divided into 1000 districts, 20 regions, ten magna regions and at least five continental divisions."

Alan also draws attention to various historical, mythological and religious aspirations of the European Union:

(1) They produced a poster depicting the Tower of Babel being rebuilt, with the caption "Europe: Many Tongues, One Voice". Then they opened a new Parliament building in Strasbourg, clearly designed to look like an unfinished Tower of Babel.

(2) The image of Europa riding the beast appears on coins, paintings and sculptures. She can be compared with the apocalyptic figure of Revelation 17, in the New Testament.

(3) The twelve stars of the European Union flag represent the twelve stars of the Madonna, indicating that Roman Catholicism is the recognised religion of the European Superstate.

Alan points out that the move toward globalism will eventually lead to the emergence of a future world dictator, with both political and religious authority - the Antichrist of Biblical end-time prophecy.

This book is a well-researched and verifiable account of important political facts that have been largely hidden from us. It is also a realistic assessment of what might become of the European Union as it moves forward relentlessly with its global agenda.
