End of battery - save file or lose file? Anyone know, with this recording once the batteries run dry does this save the file or do you lose the file when it powers down?

I need to use this where I can't access it again for hours - more than likely the batteries will drain and I will get back to recorder hours later. But, I want to know that the file will save.

I've only gotten to that point once and the file was saved. And, especially for an extended "field recording", I can confirm using 32GB HCSD cards successfully. Hope this not only answers your question but provides further encouragement for your pursuits!

The recorder has no files of it's own. All your folders and files are on the memory card. Everything will be saved on the memory card up till the time the batteries die.
