It's only 1 star because I couldn't give it minus stars.

Creating groups was a really good idea. In X1 it was easy to remove items from a group. You could also cut and paste entries between libraries.

Not any more.

For those reasons, X2 is a terrible product. Hold on to X1 or lower if you've got it. X2 is definitely a bad upgrade.

I'm in research trying to use Endnote as part of my job, writing a paper for publication. It's AWFUL. So bad. The other reviews mentioning the terrible interface are right on. There is nothing about the program that functions intuitively and thus far it has caused me nothing but frustration.

I've been attempting use this software application as it was recommended by a university library. While it appears as if it might be useful, I've now spent hours wasting time just trying to get it to work. The interface is simply a labyrinthine quagmire of meaningless menus and the interface is equally bewildering. If I could figure out how to use EndNote, it might be very useful - their website is of no help, their tech support hours are limited, and there are no other good sources to obtain good documentation. I'm interested in researching and writing, not wasting endless hours trying to figure out a software application that is allegedly designed to make those things easier.
