My family has been enjoying Bug Bites organic chocolates for years. I highly recommend both the milk chocolate and the dark chocolate varieties. They are very smooth and rich, and not the least bit "waxy" tasting like some of the more popular American chocolates. Each individually packaged bite is the perfect size for an adult and maybe a little more than a mouthful for a young child. Each tiny package contains a special treat- a tiny insect card which features a color photograph and interesting facts. If you have a budding entomologist on your hands, these are the perfect treat! The Endangered Species company is environmentally conscious too, and dedicates 10% of their net profit to support species and habitat preservation.

I bought this thinking I can keep my chocolate cravings at bay by eating one square a day....I can because the taste is honestly that great. Every time I eat one I get an odd after taste. I will still eat them but won't be buying again...better go with the actual bar of endangered species.

I bought the Chimp mints first and decided to try these. Got them today and I've eaten four already. I had to put them away before I ate more. I love dark chocolate and these are so much better than what you can buy in a grocery store with tons of sugar and other things.

I was excited to try these--I love the idea of the individual packaging, and I wanted organic dark chocolate. Check and check. However, I found the chocolate itself to be disappointing. It tastes sort of funny, as if the bug card that is enclosed in the packaging with the chocolate flavors the chocolate. Gross, especially when you are wanting an organic product. I found the bug cards to be stupid and overall I doubt that the extra packaging generated by the bug cards and individual packaging is actually helping out the endangered species this brand is named for. I'm going to be looking elsewhere to get my chocolate fix.

Love this chocolate! Not bitter as some dark chocolate can be. 4 stars instead of 5 because it is only available in individual portions, as I prefer, in this Bug Bites packaging aimed at kids. Each portion has a little trading card with info about a species of insect. I think it is wasteful and unnecessary, especially for an adult like me!

I bought these for Halloween, but had very few trick-or-treaters, so . . . I love dark chocolate. I like Endangered Species brand. And the individually wrapped pieces help to keep me from eating a whole 3 oz bar.

Great tasting dark chocolate. Nice bug cards included. The best feature is that they are all 1 serving size, so you have to rip open another which should stop you from having more. Also easy to carry.
