5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!!!, March 24, 2011
This review is from: Endangered Species in 5-D Stereograms (Hardcover)
A stereogram is an optical illusion of depth created from flat, two-dimensional image. Originally, a stereogram referred to a pair of stereo images which could be viewed using a stereoscope. But now stereograms have been reinvented with the creation of autostereograms on computers, wherein a 3D image is hidden in a single 2D image. Only when the viewer's eye hit a certain focus does the image "lift" off the page as well as back into the page. It magically turns the flat page into the appearance of viewing a 3-D TV screen.

This book will astonish the young and old alike.
