I love these crayons. The trick to keeping them from turning to mush, is keeping them out of the water. I have a little bowl that I keep them in and my daughter (2years old) sets the bown on the edge of the tub and just takes out the crayons she wants to use. She has dumped the bowl into the tub once or twice, but if you pick them up right away then they're fine. It's like a bar of soap, if you let it soak in the tub, it's going to turn to mush. If you keep it mostly dry when not in use, it will last a lot longer.

Vibrant colors, easy to grip and write with, no clunky plastic holder in the way, great price, and easy to clean off tile and mirrors. I use these at home to write fun messages to my family. As an occupational therapist, I also use these at work with clients to provide visual cues, label items in the bathroom, write instructions, etc. Very handy and easy to change as a client progresses in therapy! As a previous reviewer noted, don't submerge these in water. To be fair, I've tried a number of different brands, and all of the bathroom crayons are much harder to write with once they are wet. Out of 4 different brands, these are the ones I like the best overall. I keep these dry in the cabinet and write or draw with them before turning on the shower. To bring out the artist in you or your family, try soap-based finger paints instead if you prefer drawing on tile -- or your spouse! -- in the midst of a bath or shower.

Way cool and a hell of a deal! Anyone who has bought bath crayons for their kids knows how expensive these can be. These crayons are much fatter than the ones you'll get at WM with the crappy plastic around them, and you get more crayon out of these ones. Made of recycled materials is cool too and a % of purchace proceeds go to a good cause.

These bath crayons have been disappointing. The wrapper comes off if the crayon stays in the tub for even a few minutes and it begins to disintegrate immediately, turning your entire bath water the color of the crayon. When you then hold the crayon your entire hand turns that color. When set on the edge of the tub it then leaves a glob of crayon on the tub. Once the wrapper comes off they easily break. It does was off nicely though. I will be going back to the crayons with the plastic holder (like Crayola) in the future!

These are terrible crayons for kids who leave them in the water. They vanish. They don't write very well either. I am sure you can find something better, try Crayola.

I read all the reviews about how these crayons dissolve in the bath. I meant to get them out of the tub ASAP after first using them, but I forgot. I have twin 2 year olds, so it's easy to forget :) They dissolved and turned into crayon mush. They were fun for the first bath, but not really usable after that. I knew this when buying them, so I wasn't too disappointed. I appreciate the other reviews that shared this information!

Cheap and worked perfectly! I used them to write notes on the wall of the shower so I could study for my acoustics class, this includes lots of graphs and equations. I wrote everything about 2 1/2 weeks ago and it's all still there despite the daily showers by 3 people!
