The Password game was given as a gift to my brother-in-law. We try to play often & end up laughing about it for weeks, til we play again. We had the 30 yr. old version but some of the words were obsolete. We play with relatives in their twenties & we would have to skip some words. This 6th edition is exactly the same except it has current words. It's TOO much fun, everyone needs to play it!!

I have been playing Password with my family since I was born and bought this 6th edition to expand on the version we already had.
PROS:
1,000 news words to play with! (includes "tech age" words like email and internet)
The packaging is retro and nice to look at.
Hours worth of fun.
CONS:
The magic window revealer sleeves are made of paper so there is potential wear and tear issues.
Long story short: BUY THIS! It is everything you would want for an updated version, except for paper revealers in which case, if you own an older version, you can use the old plastic ones.

This is a game that never fails to revive fond memories of table games with family and friends when I was growing up. I still remember specific rounds and words with clues given by my brother or by my grandmother that had us all rolling on the floor laughing. And it still works that way today! How fun to introduce it to newbies (my own kids).
