Still love to play now that I have my own kids.

My kids enjoy the game but need to be supervised to make sure that they don't tear it by not paying attention.

The game board was simply a piece of cardboard.

This is the only review that I have ever written in my life, and unfortunately it is going to be negative. I played this game as a kid. I was so excited to introduce this game to my kids that I let them open it as an early Christmas present. I was VERY disappointed, when we opened the box to find a flimsy game board that was much smaller than the original board, and cheap game pieces. Big letdown. I was under the impression from another review that a case was included....nope, no case, just a cheaply made board and pieces with nothing to contain them. Now I am going to see if Amazon will let me return this.

Just what the title says. The game is a pasteboard wheel in a pasteboard cover and comes with pawns that do not fully cover the matches. My kids enjoy the game but need to be supervised to make sure that they don't tear it by not paying attention. The game being destroyed by the age group it is for is a very real possibility and means that unless always closely supervised, the new games lifespan will be very short.

I remember the game as a kid and it was a lot of fun, much sturdier and came with checkers that fully covered the board. The manufacturer has definitely decreased its quality.

I had Husker Du when I was a kid and wanted to get it for my kids. It is a simple but fun memory game. The new model is much flimsier than the old. The old one had checker type pieces that covered each item. The new one has pawn pieces that don't quite cover each hidden symbol.

I was so excited to see that this game was still being sold! I used to play this when I was little and loved it. When it came I opened the box to find flimsy, warped pieces of cardboard and plastic pieces that don't properly cover each opening. This game is NOT made like the one I played back in the late 70's early 80's!!!!! For the price I expected to find a fun memory game with a sturdy board and pieces that completely cover what is underneath. How things change.

For anyone who has played the older version the new version will be a disappointment. The older version was a lot sturdier and in my opinion more durable. The new version is flat and flimsy. I was very unhappy when I opened the box, the pictures are the same on the wheel but the wheel is too flat to be even close to my childhood memories of playing at my grandmas.

Great game, but very poorly made. Cheap, thin, cardboard. The original game was better quality. Guess that's the way everything is these days. It's a wonderful memory game for kids. Would recommend it to everyone.

The game board was simply a piece of cardboard. Plus, there were no place to store the pieces of the game. The original game of Husker Du was made much better then the newer one.
