5.0 out of 5 stars Helpful. Worth keeping on the shelf at work, November 26, 2010

I'm a cardiology attending, not the typical resident/medical student customer for this "Secrets" series. Some of the individual books in this series are helpful enough to keep at work for quick reference, but the series overall is highly variable in quality and a number of the books clearly aim at just the medical student level.

This book, however, was well written. Read a chapter or more at a time as a painless review and then keep it handy for quick reference. Most resident level manuals do not give enough detail or context to help me quickly sort out my thoughts the way this book does. I recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great resource, August 24, 2010

I am an LPN who has plenty of experience but didn't have Endo experience. I bought this book to help me along after starting a new job. The ARNP who also started at our office also has this book! I think it is great! It explains things on a level that you can easily understand yet doesn't take away from the professional reader. You may need to still purchase a book on Endo physiology just to understand the disease process in more depth but this is a great start and I would highly recommend it.
