A good place to start on your search about Endometriosis
Although some of the information is outdated Dr. Lauersen does a good job of explaining the disease of endometriosis. He gives all the pros and cons on treatments that are available. The information on the endometriosis diet makes this book a valuable asset.

Outdated
I have had endometriosis for six years now. "The Endometriosis Answer Book" was very helpful for me when I was first diagnosed, but now there are new books that have updated information. This book was written in 1989 and should not be purchased when there are books out there with new findings, new answers and new hope. The "Endometriosis Sourcebook"...

I have had endometriosis for six years now. "The Endometriosis Answer Book" was very helpful for me when I was first diagnosed, but now there are new books that have updated information. THIS IS THE FIRST INDEPTH BOOK WRITTEN ON THIS SUBJECT. IT IS EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE, AND COMPELLING TO READ, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A NOVICE AT THE ENDOMETRIOSIS GAME. DR. LAUERSEN, IF YOU READ THIS, THIS IS MY BIBLE. HOW ABOUT AN UPDATED VERSION? WOULD LOVE TO SEE IT HAPPEN.
