I have to say, I am not sure why some of the negative comments. Or, maybe my palette just isn't refined enough? To each their own I guess.
This sauce for me starts with a very sweet/fruity pepper taste, and then quickly the taste changes over to the pepper extract.
Kind of a red chile taste. In fact, if you have had Daves ultimate insanity, this is very similar.
Daves doesn't have the sweet pepper flavor though.
While the heat doesn't last too long, it is a good solid heat that will definitely hurt beginners. Intermediate users should use sparingly, and if you are a fan of Blairs or similar "death sauces" as I call them, go ahead and use this stuff like ketchup. I would rate the heat about a 3 - 3.5 out of 5.
As far as extract sauces go though, I find it to be tasty and pleasant, and it goes well in cooking applications. I certainly recommend it for your arsenal!

Best hot sauce out there. It is hot and does not have a vinegar base taste.Published 9 days ago by bounc4

I bought this for my step dad. He loves this stuff. He cans tomatoes and puts this in his tomato juice and then uses it in his chilli. It works out great for that.Published 17 months ago by Clint Hoyt
