If you are trying to find peace or if you know someone that is trying to find hope in their grieving process, this is an amazing book for the layperson and the professional as well.
This book has inspired hope in areas that I had previously felt hopeless. It's hard to realize that others can understand the suffering I am experiencing, and it's wonderful to realize that I am not alone in all of this. Not only do others experience the same emotions in their suffering, but realizing the extent to which Christ suffered...wow. I am working to change my attitudes and beliefs about the world and suffering, which will eventually lead to growth through this suffering. Hopefully I can begin to let go of the "why?" and focus on trusting God who is trustworthy and good, regardless of how I feel, what I think, or what I believe. I am thankful for this book.
book not because I felt I was suffering but to gain an awareness to help others who are obviously in a difficult place in life. However,
I came to realize we all suffer to some extent, in some way, in life because we are all humans. Life is just that way. Being equipped
to recognize what is happening, having sound biblical instruction to endure, and finally overcoming the inevitable hurdles should
result from careful reading of this book.

Really good book on pain and suffering with sound biblical and psychological basis. Easy to read and not overly technical. Disclaimer... I attend John's SS class.Published 14 months ago by Leftee
