Wrench is well made and fits an Oscar Schmidt Appalachian 21 Chord Autoharp's tuning pegs well. Be aware, though, that it has a 4-point square socket; not an 8-point star socket.

This tuning wrench will work great for the occasional individual string tuning but the "T" type tuning tool is better for changing out strings.

My shipping notice for this small, single item came quickly which is always great, however, in the hands of UPS it arrived outside the shipment window which was a bummer as we were traveling.Bought this to quickly help my mother tune a way-out-of-tune autoharp she picked up at a garage sale. Tried to quickly find a solution with pliers, wrenches and anything else I could find. Nothing would even remotely turn a string. Once this wrench arrived, I was done tuning in 5 minutes. It is rather small but perfect for the job. The wood handle makes it comfortable to use and feels like it would last some time. |
