5.0 out of 5 stars Unshakeable Principles, October 18, 2000

This review is from: Loving Your Enemies, With Letter from a Birmingham Jail and Declaration of Independence from the War in Vietnam (Paperback)
Martin Luther King's Letters from the Birmingham Jail are the most persuasive and undeniable words written since the Declaration of Independence. The unwavering faith with which he points out his views are representative of the man and his conviction to what is right and what is wrong with our society. One need only read this...and I don't care whether you are black or white, man or woman...you will identify and understand. He uses irrefutable facts and examples from commonly accepted historical outcomes to prove his point without actually saying, "It's wrong to treat my fellow African Americans in this way,"...you cannot deny the conclusion and the future once you've finished reading this...by the way, I'm a white male, born in Alabama.
