Enemies of San Angelo,
By Geoff Berman (Northern Californis) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Enemies of San Angelo (Paperback)
Enemies of San Angelo is a support book for the San Angelo game universe by Gold Rush Games. It is designed specifically for the Champions RPG, but is easily adaptable for other RPGs. This book presents that all-important staple of Superhero RPGs, the supervillains. However, not content with presenting a run of the mill product, GRG has created villains that have realistic motovations, as well as full greyscale art. Each villain has advice on how to utilize him or her in a campaign, as well as a non-powered character that has motivations designed to interact with the villain. Sometimes the "normals" are friends of the supervillain, other times advisaries, but all of them are interested in the villains, and so should you be. This book is a great resource. The only problem I had with the book, was the cover art (which I was a little less than satisfied with) and one or two pieces of interior art. If not for that I would have given this book 5 stars, as it is I would still give it 4 1/2 stars.
