Book Description

June 19, 2006
Imagine your life if you could walk free from sin and keep Satan out of your personal and business affairs. What is the key? In this bestselling book, formerly titled The Devil's Door, John Bevere reveals that the greatest form of spiritual warfare for any Christian is the powerful force of an obedient life. Enemy Access Denied will give you a fresh revelation of how God supplies a security system in the Spirit and prompt your heart and mind to find hidden sins and identify rebellion. As you're challenged to be holy, you'll discover how grace gives you the power not to be a slave to sin anymore.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enemy Acess Denied, August 8, 2007

This review is from: Enemy Access Denied: Slam the devil's door with one simple decision (Paperback)
What an eye opener! I loved the book the Bait of Satan, but this one was even better. Very Biblically Based, constantly used scriptures to amplify the point that the Holy Spirit was using him to get through to the "Church of today." It's changed the way I pray, teach, preach!
Thanks again for selling such a great book!
Sincerely Rev. RCF

Enemy Access Denied: Slam the Door on the Devil With One Simple Decision

Many Charismatic/Pentecostal books (at least those available at the local bookstore) seem to be pretty light-weight. Not this one. John Bevere gives strong insights into why the Christian life sometimes seems empty and even pointless (hint: disobedience). It is a good read and will make a Christian man or woman consider why their lives are not what God meant them to be and think about whether or not they are just rationalizing away their sins (disobedience). This is not a "Health and Prosperity" or "Name It and Claim It" book. Even non-charismatics and cessationists will profit by reading it.

4.0 out of 5 stars GOOD book about obedience..., February 13, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Enemy Access Denied: Slam the devil's door with one simple decision (Paperback)
John Bevere writes very good books and this is one of them. As I'm reading along about obedience to God, I'm getting convicted in my heart by the Holy Spirit. What Mr. Bevere has written has caused me to consider my life and my habits in such a way that I've been moved to act. Why do we have so many excuses why we can't do that thing in our life that we've wanted to accomplish forever? Mine has been weight. Couldn't do it no matter how hard I tried. Then in reading what Mr. Bevere had to say about obedience and all the reasons I might want to consider trying it, I've started. Nope, not doing it perfectly and not getting all caught up in the "law" that I might create about success and failure. I've failed already but I start in again the next day and try to make it happen. And in the process...I've lost 5 lbs. in two weeks!! That's one BIG hallelujah for myself!! I'm making small progress but I've come to know one thing. When I say yes! to God, He blesses me and the efforts I make. He says "I am with you always" and that's what I'm experiencing right now. Because I'm saying yes to Him, I'm no longer afraid to look around and see what He thinks. He's here, right beside me, and I know He's pleased with what I'm attempting to do, day by day, one foot in front of the other. This book doesn't hit you over the head, but it definitely makes you think about obedience in a new way. At least, that's what it's done for me. Read it...
