What an eye opener! I loved the book the Bait of Satan, but this one was even better. Very Biblically Based, constantly used scriptures to amplify the point that the Holy Spirit was using him to get through to the "Church of today." It's changed the way I pray, teach, preach!

Enemy Access Denied: Slam the Door on the Devil With One Simple Decision

Many Charismatic/Pentecostal books (at least those available at the local bookstore) seem to be pretty light-weight. Not this one. John Bevere gives strong insights into why the Christian life sometimes seems empty and even pointless (hint: disobedience). It is a good read and will make a Christian man or woman consider why their lives are not what God meant them to be and think about whether or not they are just rationalizing away their sins (disobedience). This is not a "Health and Prosperity" or "Name It and Claim It" book. Even non-charismatics and cessationists will profit by reading it.

John Bevere writes very good books and this is one of them. As I'm reading along about obedience to God, I'm getting convicted in my heart by the Holy Spirit. What Mr. Bevere has written has caused me to consider my life and my habits in such a way that I've been moved to act. Why do we have so many excuses why we can't do that thing in our life that we've wanted to accomplish forever? Mine has been weight. Couldn't do it no matter how hard I tried. Then in reading what Mr. Bevere had to say about obedience and all the reasons I might want to consider trying it, I've started. Nope, not doing it perfectly and not getting all caught up in the "law" that I might create about success and failure. I've failed already but I start in again the next day and try to make it happen. And in the process...I've lost 5 lbs. in two weeks!! That's one BIG hallelujah for myself!! I'm making small progress but I've come to know one thing. When I say yes! to God, He blesses me and the efforts I make. He says "I am with you always" and that's what I'm experiencing right now. Because I'm saying yes to Him, I'm no longer afraid to look around and see what He thinks. He's here, right beside me, and I know He's pleased with what I'm attempting to do, day by day, one foot in front of the other. This book doesn't hit you over the head, but it definitely makes you think about obedience in a new way. At least, that's what it's done for me. Read it...

It was hard for me to believe that there could possibly be a book that was better than the Bait of Satan. However with the Holy Spirit guiding him, John Bevere was able to produce another excellent work. Thankyou so much for sharing your gift. I highly recommend this book for all who want to defeat the enemy the enemy where he stands.

I love all of John Bevere's books. He has so might insight. This book is NO EXCEPTION. I think it was formerly called "How to shut the devil's door" Great book revealing rebellion as an access for Satan to enter someone's life. Good book. 10+

I was very pleased with this book. I purchased it new and I only share that because a few more people in the group that I was in reading this book bought theirs new and it had duplicate chapters and missing others. The book was delivered within the estimated delivery time as well.

This is a very good book. I do not agree with Bevere's belief that a person can lose their God given salvation unless of course they were decieved into believing they were saved apart from the choosing of God by grace and grace alone. Otherwise, Bevere has some very good teaching in regard to obedience to Christ. Many people are confused about the security of salvation and I can understand why. It is an assurance given by the Holy Spirit through the truth found in the revelation of Scripture.

I HAVE ONLY TO SAY THAT DOING BUSINESS WITH AMAZON AND ITS BUESINESS PEOPLE IS ALWAYS A BREEZE, PROFESSIONAL, ON TIME AND THE BEST IN PRODUCTS.

John Bevere is cutting edge, raw and FULL of God's word. He is one of my all time favorite authors. I cannot adequately describe this book, so please just read it. It's LIFE CHANGING!!!!!

This was an excellent book. Its readability level was very good. If it wasn't for the fact that I needed to stop now and then to meditate on what was being said, I would have read the book in one sitting. It stirred my heart, convicted my soul and set my spirit on fire to want to give the enemy no access and to do all that God asks. It challenged my thinking, it opened my eyes and even though it's been weeks since I read it, the truths spoken keep coming back to my memory. I liked it so much I bought additional copies to give away as gifts.
