5.0 out of 5 stars Enemy gold
This is a great movie. I have not seen it in a long time and it brought back memories. I like movies with female agent on them anyway.

Andy Sidaris was a master at writing and directing these types of movies, incorporating the elements of "bullets, bombs and babes." However, "Enemy Gold" was written and directed by his son, Christian Drew Sidaris. Christian isn't as accomplished at making movies as Andy is. His father always favored exotic locales, while Christian filmed most of this movie in the woods. Speaking of woods, most of the actors recite their dialogue in a very wooden manner. To be honest, most of them were hired for their physiques and not their acting skills. Only Rodrigo Obregon as the drug lord Santiago, and Julie Strain as hot hitwoman Jewel Panther, can really act. Most disappointing of all, the obligatory love scenes are kept to a (pardon the pun) bare minimum. Where Andy would linger over the love scenes in great detail, Christian rushes through them as quickly as he can to get back to the story. One can only hope that Christian will overcome his tendency towards prematurely finishing these scenes in his future movies!

3.0 out of 5 stars Enemy Gold, June 30, 2011
This review is from: Enemy Gold (DVD)
Being a fan of Andy Sidaris's movies, I was disappointed in this release. The story premise is okay, but the starlets were not sensationally endowed and the nudity was kept to a minimum and inserted at odd times. The locations were not appealing either. Andy's done a lot better.
