5.0 out of 5 stars The Best
I got chills reading this book. Ive read many books, on similar issues, but this one really touched a nerve. Michael Savage is not another blowhard for the Republican Party, he holds both parties accountable. When I picked up this book, I couldn't set it down. Not many like this one, I promise you that. 1.0 out of 5 stars Primal Scream Therapy for the Neo Con
If you like being angry, this book will satisfy that craving. If you like calling people names and feel that it makes your argument more compelling or emphatic you will delight in the author's use of words like, Bra-bra Streisand, turd world, demoncraps, and Looney Clooney. I expect this from a kindergartener; from a boiling-over 60+ year old, this leaves me cold...

5.0 out of 5 stars Sizzling, concentrated conservative ideas...no sugar added, January 6, 2004

Dr. Michael Savage has hit another home run with this provocative book of his no-nonsense expression of conservative ideas. Dr. Savage does not apologize for his concrete conservative stance on the important issues facing our nation today. If only the vast expanse of our liberal college campuses would begin to expose our next generation to some of this truth serum...

5.0 out of 5 stars Clarity at its best, January 14, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Enemy Within: Saving America from the Liberal Assault on Our Schools, Faith, and Military (Hardcover)
The other recommended book to read along with this one is Laura Ingraham's "Shut Up And Sing". Both clarify the insidious undertow that exists in our country today. Both books attempt to wake people up to the reality around them. Michael hits on all my hot buttons. He confirms what I have seen with my own experience in the education system, the prurient lifestyles, etc., etc. Weve both been on this planet for about the same timehim a little longer, but we both draw on our memories of the positive things of the past that have been totally trampled by the current judicial system and the ACLU et als total lack of moral compass. We both see the unrelenting attack on our senses with things that are literally forced down our throat. The single star reviewers who did not read the book are really the preachers of hate. Open your eyes, sheeple!

Well Michael you have done it again! The Enemy Within is a straight forward no-holds-bar bearer of the truth. Savage is a cynic and a man who needs anger management but he has never been closer to the truth. Sometimes we fail to see or don't want to see the obvious in front of our eyes. The Enemy Within forces you to open up your eyes and take off the blinders and see what is really going on in our great country. This book could start a movement to retake our country back from the oligarchy that has held it hostage for too long. If I could do one thing, that would be to plead with you to read this book. Let's band together and change America, bring it back to the way our founding Fathers wanted it to be. Instead of the cesspool it is evolving into.

5.0 out of 5 stars Here's a Russian echoing Savage, December 30, 2003
This review is from: The Enemy Within: Saving America from the Liberal Assault on Our Schools, Faith, and Military (Hardcover)
I have loved Michael's first book THE SAVAGE NATION and this book is the new testament to the libs' audacity to encroach upon our freedoms.

Savage often takes phone calls from people who lived in the former Soviet Union and I am on of those people.

Recently, a woman called from San Francisco. She got her degree in Communist Philosophy from a Moscow university and even she could not believe the extent of liberal propaganda in the academic establishments here.

Read this book if you still care for America and want to know how to defend it against its enemies. If thou knowest thine enemies, so to speak, you are better prepared to face them when they come knockin'.

5.0 out of 5 stars Savage Mixes Humor with a Clear Warning, January 9, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Enemy Within: Saving America from the Liberal Assault on Our Schools, Faith, and Military (Hardcover)
What a read! Savage explains how the left wing has planned a revolution of values and has virtually succeeded in replacing their brand of tripe for the traditions and values that served us well since the founding fathers established our nation. He clearly makes the case that we face far more dangers from the ultra left wing revolutionists among us than any Bin Laden could ever dream of.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Savage Truth, December 31, 2003
By
This review is from: The Enemy Within: Saving America from the Liberal Assault on Our Schools, Faith, and Military (Hardcover)
Having actually read The Enemy Within from cover to cover, Michael Savage blew me away with his incredible insight, his sharp wit, his personal stories, and his command of the facts. Without question, this is a more powerful dose of the Savage Truth than his previous New York Times No. 1 best seller, The Savage Nation.

Why? Savage has really done his homework, digging up the dirt on the Hollywood Idiots who are waging a war on our war against terrorism; he exposes the educational Czarina's who shove condoms on cucumbers down the throats of children-just wait until you see what public schools are teaching the kids in sex ed starting in kindergarden; and, for those who survive high school, Savage takes you on a wild ride through the college campus scene where hookers are guest speakers at Ivy League schools, where U.C. Berkley now offers a minor in "transgender-gay-bi-leso" studies, and where classes in porn with trips to strip clubs have replaced Plato.

And that's just for starters.

He'll get you hollowing mad at The Dogs of Hate-those "mean-faced, clipped haired" libs who live to censor the faith and freedoms of those who happen to embrace religion. And you'll find his research into the way the Centers for Disease Control is abusing our tax dollars nothing short of alarming. Then again, some sheeple have trouble coping with the facts. Which is probably why Savage wisely documented every last powerful jab of truth.

Savage is a master storyteller who never fails to entertain even while unleashing a verbal-tongue of the Red Diaper Doper Babies, PETA, the ACLU and other hard-left, facist-leaning psychopaths who are attempting to hijack America with their weapons of mass deconstruction.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Michael Savage style: Great humor and strong opinion, January 18, 2004

The perfect blend of great humor with strong opinion makes Michael Savage so unique and liked. Just like with The Savage Nation, with The Enemy Within he has done it again. I find his books the only political books that reads like a novel. Indeed, once you pick up your copy you become addicted to his saying-it-as-it-is style. Michael doesn't care to be politically correct, he doesn't care to side with any particular party, he simply blasts at anyone who tries influencing our culture and moral with their venom.

5.0 out of 5 stars The truth hurts, January 8, 2004
By
This review is from: The Enemy Within: Saving America from the Liberal Assault on Our Schools, Faith, and Military (Hardcover)
It amazes me that people who have not read a book can rate the book because they disagree with the author. I guess freedom of speech is only valid for liberals. If you disagree with liberals you are a hate monger or whatever the catch-phrase of the month is. Savage clearly points out the corruption evident in the ACLU and judges who create law instead of interpret it.
This is a great read. I recommend it to anyone who would like to learn about whats happening to our great country!
