the game is incredibly long......no really its like four discs long....it had great graphics for its time and certainly guarantees to scare you while playing it. your trapped on a space ship and your whole crew is being killed off one by one by an unknown alien. the only issue with the game is that you may become frustrated while in combat....you have one gun that can kill the enemy....the only issue is they're invisible so you have to shoot when you hear them howling at you and shoot them quick because youll die in one hit.....it takes some getting used to but the game can pull you in and before you know it youll be spending hours at a time playing....be sure to save frequently and listen to the radar thingy....

An Under-rated Classic,

This review is from: Enemy Zero (Video Game)
This game is a true classic, and it tells a great story that gets you invested in the game. You play as Laura (not the Laura in D, which this game is a spiritual sequel to), after an alien species gets onto her space vessel and she is awoken from hyper sleep to check it out (a la Alien). The problem is, the Aliens are invisible, and your only way to know where they are is through auditory tracking (a good idea to use a Stereo TV with Stereo RCA plugs and Jacks with this game) with a piano chime. The piano chime has pretty good distance so alot of the time, you can use the chime to get around enemies. Your gun (till the end) has a very limited range, and a limited amount of Ammo, and has to be recharged, which is a pain. You also have a limited amount of times you can save depending on the difficulty level with 64 power on Normal, and 99 on Easy, and 99 on beginner but uses less power to save and load, this aspect balances out the games difficulty (no shame in playing on beginner with this one).
This game plays partially like D with the invisible rails and intersections, but for the most part, its a FPS...with invisible enemies....that kill you in one hit....and if you die too many times and deplete your save device...you are screwed. So if you want a challenge and a good story, go for it.
