5.0 out of 5 stars great for chocolate covered pretzels
these are great to snack on plain buy also work great for dipping in melted ghardelli chocolate( which is gluten free) we gave the chocolate covered pretzels as Christmas gifts to friends who have celiac and wheat allergies and they all wanted more!

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
I had high hopes for these, based on the other reviews. I wanted to like them but I really don't, nor do my husband or son. To us they taste nothing like "real" pretzels, and are definitely not worth the calories, fat, or price. I know that this is because they lack the gluten, but they aren't very crunchy, more like crisp, since they aren't dense at all. They also have a...

Better than the real thing. Crunchy texture. Hint of buttery taste and just the right amount of salt. Can't beat the price, either.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great gluten free pretzels, August 7, 2007

My six year old son has Celiac disease. He loves these pretzels! He sees his siblings eating pretzels all of the time and wanted some that he could eat. I've tasted them and they are really tasty! My 15 year old daughter that doesn't have Celiac disease is always saying that she likes his pretzels more than the regular ones.

4.0 out of 5 stars Just as good as regular pretzels, September 22, 2006
This review is from: Ener-G Foods Wheat-Free Pretzels, 2.65-Ounce Bags (Pack of 20) (Grocery)
I've been a pretzel fan for a long time, and these are definitely the equal of any pretzels one might find in any supermarket. Given that they're made without gluten, that's quite an accomplishment. I'd have preferred a bit more salt, but most people with a healthy diet will probably appreciate them more as they are.

These are the best gluten free pretzels. I have tried them all and these are great. They taste like real pretzels and there isn't any after taste. I buy them from amazon by the case you can't beat it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great option for pretzels, November 24, 2009
This review is from: Ener-G Foods Wheat-Free Pretzels, 2.65-Ounce Bags (Pack of 20) (Grocery)
These taste very similar to the real thing to me. The only difference is the crunch.. you can't hear a thing while eating them except for the crunch, crunch, crunching going on in your mouth. LOL The price on Amazon seems high, but they were $3.99 a bag in our cheapest local store, just 8 bags at the $3.99 would equal amazons price for 20. Great deal!

I actually got these by mistake; I'd meant to order the sesame pretzels by Ener-G. Was bummed when I opened the box...until I tried one. Now I'm just glad (sort of) that I'm near the end of the case, because the darned things are addictive! Nice crisp crunch to them, they actually have detectable salt flavor (unlike the sesame pretzels, which I have to add salt--pretzels gotta have a little salt). I think they're better than plain old wheat pretzels, to the extent that I remember what those taste like.

another tasty snack to add to the GF arsenal of munchies!

I've served these to folk who eat gluten and they love 'em too. The only difference from wheat pretzels is that these have less salt--which is a good thing for some of us;)

5.0 out of 5 stars Best GF pretzels!, September 2, 2009

These are terrific pretzels. We found them when my son was first diagnosed, and they have been a lifesaver. We can take them anywhere for a snack, and I love to eat them, too. He used to keep them at school for when they would give out snacks. My co-worker was just diagnosed, and now loves these, too. I would highly recommend these pretzels--they're yummy!
