5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the price
I was unable to find magnetic flashlights in local stores, and I wanted to replace lights that we had lost or broken. Naturally, Amazon came through with a three-pack of good, basic flashlights that attach with magnets. They put out good light, and came with batteries.

1.0 out of 5 stars Eveready Magnet Flashlight
This picture was correct for the #E251WB-S but has been discontinued and under the same part number Eveready sells a completely different flashlight. The new version marked with the same part number is similar that it does have a magnet, but otherwise not the same. Search the web and you'll find the other pictures.

4.0 out of 5 stars flashlight with magnetic holder, November 12, 2011

ancient flashlight with magnet finally bit the dust and I could not find a local replacement. Finally found this one through Amazon. Actually better than old one as the magnet is not the off/on switch but on the other side of the flashight. This way the flashlight can be attached to metal in any position.

Sure it is not for everyone as fewer autos have metal bodies and most people do not have metal poles in their basements! But it is great for me.
