I can't tell you how many chargers I have purchased that were not Apple certified so that when Apple does an update on my phone, the charger says it's no longer supported. Unless I find one for pennies, therefore, I no longer get charges that are not Apple certified.

Fortunately this one is. The great thing is that the USB cord stores itself on the charger for easy location and for convenience.

I do not find any difference in charging time for this device as compared to charges I buy directly at the Apple store.

I use my phone for GPS, lots of talking, very long trips, texting, googling, and everything else. My chargers get a real workout and this has not let me down.

Better yet, the light lets you know how to find it easily for grasping but, more importantly, to know it's working. If a charger is not plugged in just right, you can keep waiting for your device to charge with no result.

I have used this for my my phone and my ipod with never a negative result.

The charger works pretty good. Just wish the cable wrap up feature was better. It's cumbersome getting the cable coiled up into that little compartment. I usually don't even bother, and then this is just a huge charger. I prefer my smaller chargers, and to keep the cable coiled up in the arm rest box or glove box.

Like most Apple users, I seem to go through charge/sync cables quickly. Especially if I use them in the car. I drive about 2 hours a day on most days, add that music playing time to my normal phone use and my iPhone wont last the day without charging. Becuase of that, I keep it on the charger in the car, which means Im always going through calbes.

This charger seats nicely into the recipticle in my console (formerly known as where the cigarette lighter went, now I dont know what to call them). The USB plug is secure and seems to work well with any USB charger I use it for. The Apple charger portion actually works on all my devices, rare for a non-Apple product. This is a legitimately licensed product, not an 'import' knock-off, which means you wont get the "unable to charge" or "this device not supported" message when you plug your iPhone, iPod, or iPad into it.

The little blue light is ok, but I dont typically plug or unplug my iPhone in complete darkness so Im not sure what the purpose is other than to just look cool.

Overall, its a good product that works like it is supposed to. I can recomend it to others without hesistation.

The Energizer 5W Premium USB Car Charger is like your standard cigarette lighter socket card charger except that it can store your USB cable. The cable wraps around the front for easy storage. The charger comes with a rubberized USB to iPhone 4s or older cable that also works with most iPods and older iPads. Rubberized cables are nice in that they are stronger and don't tangle as easy as the other cables. It also features a soft blue light which helps plugging the cable in when using it in a dark area.

It works well with an iPhone. I also used a standard USB to mini USB cable to charge an Android tablet. My guess is that it would also charge any point and shoot digital camera that uses a usb charging cable.

This car charger is durable and works as advertised. The main feature is that the charging cable is able to wind up around the charger unit when not in use. It's not my favorite charger, but it is very reliable and it's nice to have a spare.

I like the convertibility of this product, however the one i received is for HOME, not auto use.
It has a regular plug on the back, NOT a car-charger plug.

You can use the cable that comes with it, or you can use the new cable for the iPhone 5 - interchangeable.

The plug folds up for easy travel.

Nice product - i definitely recommend it.

This is a high qulaity charger that I am using for my iPad and iPhone. The exta cord can be wrapped around a deep groove around the head so you can adjust it to the proper length. The blue light is classy and not cheesy.
