Not "C" capacity,

These batteries are physically the size of C batteries, but they do not have the capacity. They are essentially AA batteries in a larger shell, which means that they expire pretty quickly. I bought these and the overnight charger to power a bunch of baby gear (like swings) and they are a complete disappointment. Don't waste your money. The AA system is great though.

Very Little Juice for a Size C Battery - Same Capacity as AA Batteries,
By 2500mAH? Compare this rating with ordinary AA Nimh rechargeables. You'll see a lot of AA's equal and even higher than 2500mAh. No wonder they are very light and HOLLOW. Easy to break because of the empty space inside. This is one of the first size C Nimh rechargeables that I have bought and seen on the market. You can do as well with AA's using C & D spacers. Not a good buy. Reminder: You will also need to buy a new charger than can accommodate "C" size batteries.

Energizer 2500 mAh C size batteries: Like my review for the AAs: POWERFUL.
These have been in my sons Leapfrog Clickstart console for almost 2 months, longer than the regular batts, & no sign of them weakening yet. He uses the game every day & will often leave it on for an hour when he's distracted by something else. These batteries need to be charged properly in a Nimh family overnight charger to get the most complete charge for the strongest power. I love these batteries & will get more to have extras on hand. They save money in the long run, they hold a very strong charge for a long time & I am contributing less garbage to the landfill.

The item was not as claimed! It is simply a 2-pack, not a set of 3 2-packs. No response from seller after multiple contacts. Very disappointed.

The product itself is a good product. I was jilted however with the description by the seller and the actual product received. The product was described as a 2 pack of 3, six total. So naturally I thought I would receive 6 batteries... when in fact I only received 2. When I contacted the company they stated that "obviously the picture only shows a pack of two" as if I was a moron, when their advertisement CLEARLY said 6 total. I'm not sure I would recommend buying this product from any merchants online here because it seems that most of them are advertised the same way, and ... well... I hope you don't have to go through the hassle that I did!

First I have to acknowledge that in the long run these batteries are STILL going to save you money over buying standard batteries. Just be ready to have them spend a lot of time on the charger.
I picked up the Energizer C's at the local Best Buy when we got tired of buying new batteries for our infant son(s) swings. I was a bit dissapointed that I found myself recharging them every day and sometimes sooner than that. I didn't realize just how weak they were until I got the Tenergy batteries, which pretty much blew the Energizers out of the water. Basically you get twice the power and twice the usage time. Do yourself a favor and take a look at the Tenergy line of rechargables. |
