Nice flashlight, crap packaging, absentee instructions,

The device itself is fine (although LED would've been better/brighter/consume less energy than incandescent), but the packaging makes it very difficult to actually get the included batteries out. You've got to cut a little plastic "nipple" and the batteries sort of fall out.
Also, the packaging itself is an environmentalist's nightmare. To top it off, there are no instructions on how to actually put the batteries in. I ended up calling Energizer, and they told me that the bottom part unscrews. [...]

This flashlight looks great, but I see nowhere to insert the batteries. Nor have I ever owned a flashlight that requires a philips head screwdriver to install same. I have now removed four screws and am no closer to solving the problem. Where are the instructions? Duh???
