I have used Energy Speakers for my Surround Speakers for years and I love them. Now with the addition of the CR-10 rear surrounds I have completed my Surround Theater up to 7.1. These Speakers are really nicely made and are easy to hang. The sound is phenomenal (for as much as rear surrounds play , which is very little). When I broke them in, I hooked them up to my regular surround channel and played "Rush, Live At Rio" 24 hours a day for 100 hours. Even though I was playing them at a mid volume level, they sounded really good all by themselves.Don't get me wrong , I am used to Mirage M3si s with a Mirage BP150si 150wat sub powered at about 300 watts per channel by a Pioneer Elite Amp. For there size and configuration I have to say , all the sound was there . It sounded good to,for the mid volume. Anyway , this signified to me that they were more than capable to keep up with Surround rear channels requirements.I am happy I added the CR-10 s and on most of the Blu ray movies with 6.1 or 7.1 (which is not to many yet) it is amazing.Well , enough said , I would recommend these Rear Surround Speakers to anyone who doesn't mind paying a little bit extra for the quality of the Energy product and name.

I purchased a pair of these speakers on sale through Amazon. These speakers are my back rear surround speakers of a 7.1 home theater sound system. Sound is clear and crisp considering the cost of the speakers. Great budget priced "Bipolar" speakers that sound great in my theater room. My five star rating is based on the cost of these speaker being less than $300. If these speakers were in the $300-$600 range I would rate them a 4 out of 5.
