Easy to install and paintable to match any dŽcor, the speakers produce the high-end signature sound for which Energy's box speakers are known while taking up almost no space. They're great for small rooms that can't accommodate moderate-sized speakers, or for users who like to keep their homes as uncluttered as possible. Plus, the speakers are built to sonically match other Energy lines--including the Connoisseur, XL, and Take series--so you can easily blend the EAS-6Ws into an existing home theater system, or create an all-new one with these speakers as the foundation.

Each EAS-6W speaker boasts an exclusive 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter and a 6.5-inch composite aluminum woofer, which combine to deliver deep, powerful bass, a sultry smooth midrange, and crisp, clean highs. The tweeter is even adjustable, letting you point the sound towards or away from your listening location. The swivel tweeter also works with the superior-quality crossover networks and stiff baffles (which eliminate resonance) to compensate for less-than-ideal mounting locations. And to make installation simpler, Energy included a detachable bezel with each speaker. Consumers should note that the speakers require a mounting cutout of 7.5 inches wide by 10.88 inches tall and an in-wall depth of 3.25 inches.

Additional features include five-way binding post speaker connections, which ensure a high-quality signal transfer; a frequency response of 55 Hz to 20 kHz; a crossover point of 2.2 kHz; and power handling of 100 watts. The speakers measure 8.69 by 12.12 by 3.5 inches (W x H x D) each--the frames overlap the wall cutout--and are backed by a five-year warranty on parts and labor.
