I was a little skeptical about this product at first, but after testing it with my home theatre system, all I can say is WOW! I would of never guessed that an 8" woofer could put out as much bass content and with such definition as my current 12" subwoofer. I am very pleased and will try other products from Energy when I am ready for my next peice.

Used this sub to replace one that died in an energy system. Works great! Sounds better than the original.

Received the speaker; the box was not packed well, so corners of the speaker are damaged. But the sound is solid! More than enough power for my system. I highly recommend this product!

I purchased this sub based on the reviews on Amazon and another site (where I actually bought it at a lower price during a sale) about 6 months ago. When it arrived and I unpacked it, I was amazed by the diminutive size, but was prepare for it since I had seen these subs before. But, the size was a major plus for me as I easily hid it behind my entertainment center. At first, I was not overly impressed with it, thinking my room was too big. But, after about a week of breaking it in, WOW. There was a major improvement and I actually had to dial it down a bit, both on the sub and my receiver. After owning it for 6 months, I am extremely happy with this subwoofer. I have a living room about 15x20 but it also opens up into the dining room, which is about 10x12, which leads to the kitchen, about 10x4. This tiny thing fills the entire house with ooomph. For music, TV, movies, everything I throw at it, it is great. Of course, being small, it can only go so low, but it does what I ask of and then some.

I was impressed with the speed of delivery for this item. I ordered some other products before this one and it arrived first. It is what I expected also. Very pleased the the purchase.
