Great survey of Energy
I bought this book for a class. I found this book to be a great introduction to lots of topics surrounding energy. Sure, I could complain about a couple of things: 1. some chapters feel like they are (somewhat) updated versions from the previous edition (which they are!), and 2. some minor topics are not explained, as if it was assumed that...

I was expecting the new edition to have updated a few things, for example LEDs are still neglected in the lighting sections. All in all it's still a good reference manual. The visual presentation of the material is disturbing; it's full of copy/pasted excel tables in low resolution.

I found useful information on energy saving ideas for production equipment, but not all chapters were as good. I would expect to see quite a lot of information on compressed air energy saving.
