5.0 out of 5 stars There is as much oil in Alaska as Arabia
Although dated, having been written in the early 70's, the testimony of Rev. Lindsay is valuable. The author is a simple, but Godly man who only states what he saw, and came to the obvious conclusions. It is amazing how brainwashed people are that they revile anyone who speaks the truth. 3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting background; lots of repetition
Lindsey Williams is a pastor. He traveled to Alaska as a missionary, and ended up working as a chaplain on the Alaska Oil Pipeline. He became privy to the inner workings of the oil companies, and to the pressures the federal government was placing on those oil companies at the time, in an apparent attempt to nationalize the oil industry.

During this period of...

Although dated, having been written in the early 70's, the testimony of Rev. Lindsay is valuable. The author is a simple, but Godly man who only states what he saw, and came to the obvious conclusions. It is amazing how brainwashed people are that they revile anyone who speaks the truth. Those people who doubt Rev. Lindsay need to open their hearts and minds and investigate more on the matter. Rev. Lindsay, Chaplin on the Prudhoe Bay Pipeline, the largest construction project in history to that time, having executive status, was present at the discovery of an oil field below Gull Isand the size of the Prudhoe Bay pool. The gov't forced the oil companies to keep quiet or else they'd shut them down with over regulation. Rev. Lindsay saw the gusher come in and was there when the test results came in. We need to stop financing the Arab weapons progams against us and utilize our own abundant resources. The executive of the oil company at Gull Island told the pastor that there are many pools of oil like that at Prudhoe Bay under Alaska, but that the government won't let them be touched. Consistent with Lindsay's experience, I personally know of a deposit of oil in northwest Montana that is being concealed from the public. This is a good book for those investigating the international banking conspiracy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oil enough to spare, June 23, 2004

This review is from: The Energy Non-Crisis (Paperback)
I agree with the reviewer from Arizona that the book itself drifts from subject to subject, is not very well written, reads like a diary, and is outdated and undocumented. BUT ... none of this is the point of this book. Lindsey's goal was simply to make the public aware of what he saw and experienced during construction of the Alaska Oil Pipeline. The book is a testimonial. Read the review of the person from Montana. I concur.

Once again we're all being told that we're in an "energy crisis." (Been there ... done that already!) The price of fuel is above $2 per gallon and is sure to hit $5. The United States has oil deposits all over (or should I say, under) its holdings. Get real! SOMEBODY is controlling the supply of both petroleum and natural gas to the public. There is no need of a shortage. THAT'S the point of the book, and Rev. Lindsey's message.

And, by the way, "conspiracies" DO exist ... and they are only "theories" if they are unproven.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, and the videos are spot on., August 22, 2008

My work mate lent me this book a few months ago and I started looking around for a copy. Folks, this baby is hard to find [for under $150].

As of this posting, there are 243 copies of this exact revised-edition paperback book available from the central supplier of Mr. Williams. This book is rare, but I can't believe this book is selling for $1499.99. Information must be avaiable and this price jacking is not right when the book is actually avaiable.

Folks, Call 1-800-321-2900 option 2. You may have to try calling back a few times, its a very small shop.

5.0 out of 5 stars What A Story !, September 15, 2008
This review is from: The Energy Non-Crisis (Paperback)
While I can do without the references to religion, Lindsey at least makes his point in a clear manner that I find difficult to dismiss out of hand. That we have some 200 (or maybe more) years of oil and NG, is staggering. I very well remember in the early 1970's when gas, white gas even, was incredibly cheap (compared to today's prices) and a fill-up was only a few dollars. Now, it's a few hours or a day's wages.

What really struck me, is that we're pumping a billion cubic feet of natural gas back into the ground every day. That natural gas could have been used for electric generators, and more.

There is great information presented here, but as evidenced by the wide range of opinions and ratings, people believe what they want and reject what doesn't agree with their world view, as manipulated by the zeitgeist that fortunately for now at least, includes Amazon.com. So believe this:

In 1999, before we elected our first MBA President, an OIL man, to be the leader of the "free" world, oil was at $10 a barrel. Now it's pushing $140 a barrel, the world is less free, and Exxon is making record profits while getting massive federal subsidies. For some reason I don't understand, this may be a good thing?

We're just one more Middle-Eastern invasion away from $200 a barrel oil, that should happen later this year. So believe what you want, vote for more war, pay your sub-prime mortgage, bend over at the gas pump and watch a little more TV before you vote. Talk about getting HOSED!

Read this book before you dismiss it--Or watch the reverend on YouTube while you still can, since this book is obviously going away.

Judging from the pricing I see around the internet it becomes a price and demand item.

All Americans should read this book or become familiar with the true economic world order presented by Lindsey Williams.

The truth won't make you happy.

This book is extremely interesting, however the high prices for the existing available copies are ridiculous. I found that it is available for free at the link below:

4.0 out of 5 stars Honest and Sincere, July 6, 2008
This review is from: The Energy Non-Crisis (Paperback)
I've noticed that some reviews have indicated that Mr. Williams is just trying to make money off his book. Well explain then why his book is nearly impossible to find. There are only a handful of copies for sale, look around. They haven't reprinted since the original! So how is he making money from the books again?

He does have problems explaining himself at times, and it makes it seem like what he is saying is untrue. But a little research will clarify any questions that his book presents. And isn't that the point of reading something like this? To make you think and ask questions.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truth?, March 7, 2009

That Lindsey Williams is a minister and that he has little to gain from his story(some money some fame) and most importantly that he is acting on his belief demonstrated in the way he conducts his daily life lends even more credence to his story. We now hear Alaska is going to get a natural gas pipeline some 30 years later. For anyone searching for the truth and who is not so blind as to believe all the governmental authorities tell us this is a good place to start your own research.

On the one hand, if it's true, what he says here should be required reading before anyone is allowed to vote or hold national office.

On the other hand, I haven't yet been able to tell how true it might be. The "proof" he offers is thinner than most critical readers would like. But we (should) all know that just because you can't prove something doesn't mean it's not true.

I can't help but feel I'd like to meet the man, but I don't even know if he's still alive (the book's been out of print for decades).

P.S.: If an amateurish writing style is a huge turn-off for you, read something else. (But most people don't read a book like this for entertainment, so it's really not a problem; it's not like he's illiterate, just not much of a writer.)
