A great fan................................except,

This is a wonderful bathroom fan. Very, very quiet if you run 6 inch vent pipe all the way. It should get 6 stars except...........
No where does it tell you that this fan should be for new construction. It is designed to be installed before the sheetrock ceiling is installed. Most replacement fans can go straight up from the bottom through the same or a new hole cut in the ceiling. Not this one. it has flanges sticking out where no replacement fan ever does. It takes a few odd ball cuts in the sheetrock to actually get this fan in place and lots and lots of running up and down between the bathroom and the attic to install it. You can install it as a replacement fan. Just allow a few extra hours. |
