Each speaker boasts dual 5.5-inch injection-molded mica/polypropylene cone woofers with nitril rubber surrounds and molded Spherex copolymer baskets that eliminate the "ringing" common to many models. Meanwhile, each 0.75-inch aluminum dome tweeter features a cloth suspension that produces a superb transient response, along with a tuned Ultrasonic Acoustic Filter (UAF) that optimizes dispersion and protects the ultra-light dome.
