The Enerpac BP-124E battery-powered, two-speed, lightweight hydraulic pump with 230V battery charger is for lifting, bolting, or applying pressure with a hydraulic cylinder (sold separately) in construction, manufacturing, and maintenance and repair applications where an external power supply is not available. It can advance and release a single-acting cylinder or power a hydraulic tool, but it cannot hold a load. The pump has two speed settings. In both settings, the operator can vary the flow rate by increasing or decreasing the pressure applied to the pump's trigger handle. The trigger handle can be locked in the off position when not in use. A non-adjustable internal pressure relief valve and an adjustable external pressure relief valve help protect the pump from overload. The pump has a built-in handle for carrying. The pump has a 1/4" National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded port for connecting to a hose or gauge (sold separately). The pump is powered by a 3 amp-hour lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery pack (two included) and comes with a 230V charger that recharges a spent battery pack in one hour. Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on the battery pack show the amount of charge remaining in the pack.

Hydraulic pumps lift, bolt, or apply pressure to objects by pressurizing and moving hydraulic fluid. A hydraulic pump consists of a base, a reservoir that holds hydraulic fluid, and an operating mechanism, such as a handle or foot pedal, an electric motor, compressed air, or a gasoline engine.
