I've tried many of the gel packs and found these to be the best for what I need and IMHO, taste considerable better than much of what's out there. I prefer the cola flavored, like drinking Coke syrup, which, with some water is not half bad! I'm a mountain bike rider and we do a lot of cross country including climbing. They provide fast fuel when needed and really keep my legs feeling strong. I find I get a great sustained energy from them if I take the pack with about 1/2 a bottle of water. These packs are great, highly recommend.
