I ordered Aflie for my sons first Teddy. He looked so perfect in the pictures and even better in person. I like his size. I think he is a good size for a little toddler to tote around. He is really soft and cuddly. He has pellets in his bottom so he can sit up.

I said he was educational because he will teach a young one friendship and bonding!

A few strands of his fur have come out, but I pulled on some others and they didn't come out (and I pulled hard). So maybe they were just strays.

The bear is only surface wash.

The second I saw this little bear's face, I had to have him. And when he arrived, I was not disappointed. He is ten time more adorale than pictured, and very soft and cuddly. He's well made and study, as well. I believe GUND makes the best bears out there and I absolutely recommend adding "Alfie" to your collection or purchasing him for a fellow bear fan or child.

The bear arrived and was really squished in his box. Although I did receive it in time for the special occassion I bought it for. The bear bounced back quickly. It was not as large as I had imagined. I think the dimensions were a hair misleading, but it was very soft, very cute and the person I bought it for loves it!

I purchased this one and one of the other bears for my twins. They loved both of them. Super comfy and just plain adorable. A great Teddy.

This bear is so sweet and lovable. We bought this bear for my little girl and our son has fallen in love with it, too. We will definitely be buying another one.

Gund products are the best! I purchased this adorable teddy for my new grandson, and his 3 year old sister loves it as well. She enjoys entertaining her new brother with antics by Alfie. It is very soft, durable and fun to hold and cuddle.

Alfie is such a nice, soft, cuddly bear that you won't want to give him away as a gift to a child. So, save time and buy two. Keep one for yourself. He only received four stars because (a) he would give better hugs if he was 4 inches (or more!) taller, and (b) some of his fur sheds a little. Despite these two issues, I would recommend Alfie for your next teddy bear purchase. An A+ bear!

I got this bear for my love and she loves it. However I didn't like how it sheds. Overall I love this bear, I just wouldn't give it to a young child who likes to slobber on it since the fur might get into their mouth.

This bear is just the perfect teddy bear. So soft and cuddly... while clearly durable and quality-made. Such an adorable face and body shape. I got this for my nephew, but if I ever need a teddy bear for anyone else in the future... Alfie will be my go-to bear.

Teddy, as he has since been christened, is my 3yo girls best friend. He goes everywhere with us from morning until bed. He is very soft and a dark enough shade that he does not show every speck of dirt he encounters. He is super cute and looks like a teddy bear- not too cutesy and not too actual wild bear like-- just right.
I wish he were machine washable, but I'd worry he'd lose the super soft texture. He seems well sewn and I have only seen a few stray tufts of hair (maybe loose from manufacture? they have tapered off since the first week he was here)
He's a great size (though big!) for my little girl to haul around and snuggle.
