This is an excellent intermediate Spanish text. Each chapter focuses on a theme (health, the environment, etc) that becomes the subject of the vocabulary, readings, and many activities for the chapter. The focus on a theme allows students to practice using the newly introduced vocabulary right away, so it becomes part of the long-term memory.

Each chapter also contains three grammar points. Each grammar point is presented on two pages with charts, explanations, and plenty of examples highlighting the use of new tenses and concepts. Each grammar point is followed by two pages of activities that apply those points. The activities start simple and progress in difficulty to include more complex constructions or irregular verbs.

The readings, dialogs, and short films included in each chapter contain the grammar constructions highlighted in the grammar points and provide students with the opportunity to increase comprehension of the language and learn about the cultures and customs of various Spanish-speaking countries.

Additional activities and the full conjugations of many verbs are located at the back of the book, and both are good resources. The Spanish-English dictionary included at the back of the book, however, is far too limited to be of any use. It should either be expanded to include all words that appear in the text or, even better, removed to encourage students to use a real Spanish-English dictionary.

Overall, this is a phenomenal text for intermediate Spanish students. It is very clear and concise, and the abundance of examples clears any confusion. Highly recommended.

This book is design for intermediate students. Was send in very good shape. I think it will help me with my Spanish Tutoring. Still I would prefere more focus on conversation.

Book arrived on time in good condition, just as described! I was worried when I ordered it whether or not the access code would be included and it was!

The cover is a lil worn but other than that the pages are intact. The price was amazing compared to buying it at the bookstore at school. definitely will be buying from this seller again.

The book came much sooner than I expected, which was incredibly helpful since I had already started the Spanish class I needed it for. The book was in the exact condition the seller said it was, and because they were up front about the access code not working, I was able to talk to my professor and buy a new code in time. I appreciate the honest description and timeliness.

The text was in reasonably good shape, and the seller was prompt. It serves the purpose.
